Christmas time in Gozo is very special. For centuries people have set cribs in their homes and bagpipers have gone through the streets playing traditional tunes. Music is one of the main components of Christmas.

Once again, the Xaghra Local Council is contributing in these festivities, organising the annual Christmas Concert. The concert will take place on Sunday, the 27th of December at the Basilica of Marija Bambina in Xaghra, Gozo, starting at 7.00pm.

This year, this concert will have the participation of the Chorus Urbanus accompanied by a string ensemble under the direction of Mro. Dr. John Galea. Entrance is free.
