Agenzija Zaghzagh and the Gozo Youth council held an informative meeting on Saturday in Gozo, aimed at providing young people with the necessary information and tools to apply for funding schemes.

A representative from Agenzija Zaghzagh explained two schemes which the authority offers to youth organisations.

`The A4U Scheme – Assistance for you,' that provides financial support to help youth organisations/groups develop and increase resources, improve the premises they use and develop training for their current and prospective leaders and the `Be Active: Developing ideas together,' which aims primarily to provide youth organisations/groups with financial support to develop projects/initiatives for their respective service users and the community in general.

Youth organisation/groups have to be registered members of Agenzija Zghazagh in order to be eligible to apply and adhere to the criteria set for the schemes.

The Gozo Youth Council said that it encourages youth NGOs to apply for these schemes and seek help from the Council should they need any information with regards to the application process.
