Alternattiva Demokratika Zghazagh welcomed the carpooling initiative at University by KSU, and encouraged KSU to introduce even more carpooling initiatives in order to reduce traffic around University.

ADZ further stated that such measures may require some time in order to become more effective, "however these measures will result in a decrease in the number of cars at University."

ADZ also encouraged the implementation of similar measures at a national level. ADZ chairperson Marc' Andrea Cassar stated that, "the carpooling scheme at University is a step in the right direction. Such a measure should also be implemented at a national level."

ADZ also insists that public transport must improve in order to reduce traffic. Cassar further stated that, "public transport must be more frequent, more reliable, follow timetables and faster by more direct routes. Every car owner should have a proper alternative to their car through reliable public transport."
