The Minister for Gozo Anton Refalo met with Maria Pia Saliba, who made history during the Special Olympics National Games in Cyprus last week, when she became the first ever Gozitan athlete to win in the competition.

Maria Pia won three medals in the swimming discipline; a Gold, Silver and Bronze.

The Minister congratulated Maria Pia for her success and augured well for more successes in the future.

He urged more people with a disability to no longer hold back, so they can discover their future goals.
