The Scout Association of Malta is organising the official opening of the Xaghra Scout Group Headquarters in Triq ta' Hamet, Xaghra,, which is taking place tomorrow, Sunday, the 1st of May.
Xaghra Scout Group forms part of The Scout Association of Malta and has been given its headquarters from the Government in 2012 through a parliamentary resolution. The Group through its volunteers, helpers, supporters, benefactors, local council and ministry has renovated a very dilapidated 1700s farmhouse through the past four years to serve as their weekly meeting place for their 100 scout members.

The event will be attended by the Ministry for Gozo, the Bishop of Gozo, a number of Parliament members, Local Council members, The Scout Association of Malta representatives, benefactors, supporters, leaders and members.
