Yesterday saw one of the most spectacular raptor migrations on the Maltese islands with thousands of birds flying over and roosting overnight.

Kaccaturi San Ubertu (KSU) said that it members and other hunters filmed and photographed this once in a lifetime spectacle.

In a statement today, KSU commended the exemplary behaviour of all hunters, saying that it "disproves malicious statements to the contrary."
