A man and woman, both French, were today arraigned in the Gozo Court charged with robbery from an Ghajnsielem shop on Sunday.
The two, aged 29 and 25, pleaded guilty to the charges and Magistrate Dr Paul Copping sentenced them to one year in jail, suspended for two years. The couple were also ordered to pay back the €184 that they stole.
