A reminder that this week the Europe Direct Information Centre – Victoria, Gozo, is organising a seminar about organic food and its genuinity. Expert speakers from the Malta Organic Agriculture Movement (MOAM) have been invited to address this seminar.

Organic food and its genuinity – Gozo seminar this Thursday

The seminar is taking place this Thursday, the 15th of September, from 9.30am to 11.30am at the Victoria Scouts Headquarters situated in St Domenica Street, Victoria, Gozo.

The speakers for the seminar will be:

Mr Mario Salerno, President of MOAM, about the Principles of Organic Farming and the Food Genuinity.

Mr Joe Sciberras, Vice President of MOAM about Practices of Organic Agriculture

Mr John Gauci, Secretary of MOAM, about the Value of Organic Fruits and Vegetables and the Mediterranean Diet.

This will be followed by a discussion by those present, a tasting of organic products kindly offered by Mr Charles Galea of 'Naturali' organic shop and refreshments.

Those attending will also be given some European Union publications as well as promotional material.
