Why does everything in Malta and Gozo – including motocross now – “kick off”?

      Can nothing simply “start”…?

    2. Peter says:

Revel it’s their hobby so let them enjoy.
If you don’t like such sport the best way you should do is not to go.

      • Revel Barker says:

It’s not their hobby I object to – it’s the Maltese use of the term “kick-start” in almost every context, where the word “start” would suffice.

    3. Frank Portelli says:

Motocross is surly the most appropriate place to “kick start” an event- Just sayin…

    4. Revel Barker says:

Fine to kick-start a motorbike, Frank (if you still need to do that) but not to “kick off” the event…
