The thirteenth edition of Schola Cantorum Jubilate's 'Carols by Candlelight,' has just been announced, a magical, festive concert that should be included in everyones Christmas schedule.

The Schola Cantorum Jubilate first introduced 'Carols by Candlelight' in 2003. It is a major Christmas event which attracts locals and foreigners, some saying that they even plan their holidays around the same dates just so they can attend this event.

The Gozitan choir, under the direction of Marouska Attard succeeded in creating an event in the true spirit of Christmas. Such spirit, even with a spiritual touch, manages to recreate childhood memories and above all supports life.

Another special setting is being prepared for this year's edition of 'Carols by Candlelight' which once again will be held at St. Augustine's Priory in Victoria.

The cloister of the same priory, will later serve as a banquet hall where delicious Christmas plates will be served.

'Carols by Candlelight' will be held on Friday, the 9th and Saturday, the 10th of December at 7.30pm at St. Augustine's Priory in Victoria Gozo.

Tickets are now on sale from D'Amato Records Shop in Valletta and from Bargate Bookshop in Victoria, Gozo.
