Today, the solemn celebration of Christ the King, Pope Francis will be closing the Jubilee of Mercy in Rome. In union with the Pope, at 4pm this afternoon, Gozo Bishop Mario Grech, will lead a Diocesan Celebration on the occasion of Christ the King, in the Church of St John the Baptist – Xewkija Rotunda,

The inclement weather has meant the change of venue from the church of the Capuchin Friars in Victoria.

The theme of this celebration will be the Crucifix, which is a narrative of the mercy and forbearance of God.
