For the third year running Gozo Live has launched its play writing competition which is open to all. The organisers are looking for short plays of no more than 20 minutes running time although shorter plays are perfectly acceptable. An excerpt from a longer play can also be entered.

Plays can be written in English or Maltese and can be on any subject. Entries should be emailed or posted to Gozo Live and need to be typed in `Word’ format in a typical script format with a list of the characters following the title.

Full rules are to be found on the Gozo Live Facebook page or can be requested from gozolive2018@gmail.com.

Successful plays will be performed by way of a rehearsed reading to the general public in the summer. The closing date for submissions is the 31st of July 2017.
