The Parliamentary Secretary for the Rights of Persons with Disability and Active Ageing Dr Justyne Caruana, has visited Dar Padova Night Shelter in Ghajnsielem, where she spoke to the residents and presented gifts for the occasion.
Dr Caruana said the project for this first night shelter service in Gozo has proved to be a great success and will pave the way for others to follow.
She gave thanks to all the staff involved in caring for the elderly who make use of the service.
Padova House is an excellent example of how things should be. It is nice, cosy and has a wonderful atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful.
