The first ever Gozo Film Festival came to a close last night, following a very successful three-day event entertaining large audiences at the Citadel, with both indoor and outdoor venues.

Organised by by the Gozo Film Club, with the support of the Malta Film Commission, the event promoted local – Gozitan and Maltese – filmmakers, as well as foreign productions.
The Festival featured 32 short and feature films, including 9 by Maltese and Gozitan filmmakers and 2 documentaries, all the productions had connections with Gozo.

Children weren’t forgotten either, they were able to enjoy sessions on film production and television work.
