Heavy rain, thunderstorms and strong winds have hit the Maltese island overnight, causing flooding in many areas, with Gozo getting the brunt of it.
Victoria has had 57mm of rain in the past few hours, with more forecast throughout the day.
The Police and Civil Protection Department are urging the public, especially motorists to avoid low-lying areas that are prone to flooding. They particularly warned to avoid Triq Gorg Borg Olivier, in Mellieha, due to damage as a result of the storm.
