The Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech, last week received a courtesy visit from Dr Mario Sammartino, the new Italian Ambassador to Malta.
The discussion covered various subjects, including how the Italian Embassy and the Gozo Church can collaborate to strengthen Gozo-Italian culture – particularly in Church schools, and how the Church can offer accompaniment to the Italian community in Gozo.
