The Ministry for Transport has announced that as from Monday, fuel prices will be reduced considerably due to the fall in international oil prices.

The Ministry said that the reductions in prices are now possible due to the latest consignment of petrol and diesel which can be priced according to the market value.

Unleaded petrol will be priced at €0.99 per litre (25 cents less), Lead Replacement Petrol at €1.06 per litre (25 cents less), Diesel at €0.99 per litre (24 cents less), Kerosene at €1 per litre (30 cents less) and Light Heating Oil at €0.77 per litre (16 cents less).

Thin Fuel Oil 200 degree will cost €422 per ton (€76 less), Thin Fuel Oil 450 degree will cost €450 per ton (€87 less) and Thin Fuel Oil 900 degree will be priced at €373 per ton (€107 less).
