H.E Joop Nijssen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Malta, has paid a courtesy visit to the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana.
During these bilateral talks, which were held at the Ministry, they discussed the outcome of the Malta EU Presidency.
Together with the Netherlands and Slovakia during the Malta EU Presidency, Malta signed the declaration calling for action with regards to the Dementia Agenda.
The island of Gozo was part this, and presented the pilot project of San Lawrenz – the dementia friendly village.
Dr Caruana said that “now we have broadened the discussion for co-operation in other fields and I am looking forward to the outcome of this visit.”
