As part of the campaign launched by Xaghra United football Club – Charity begins at home – the nursery players’ of Xaghra United paid a visit to the Gozo General Hospital.

Following a party for the younger members of the club, about 40 nursery players and coaches went on a ride with the train around Gozo and finally on to the Gozo General hospital.
During their hospital visit they called into the children’s ward, female ward, male ward and finally the elderly at Dar Sant’Anna.

Each player offered gifts and sweets to the patients, as well as providing much welcome entertainment for the patients by singing Christmas Carols.

The Xaghra United Football Club and Nursery said that they would like to thank the Gozo General Hospital for their support and daily dedication, and wish all the best to everyone for the New Year 2018.
