Updated: The Victoria Local Council will be organising, for the third consecutive year, the New Year’s Eve celebration ‘IL-FESTA’.
Preparations are underway to provide the thousands that flock to Victoria on the night with a memorable evening. As always the concept will focus on providing a meeting place for all – kids, youths, families and elderly alike and the venue will take place in Independence Square and Saint George’s Square.
As regards to the set up for the event, this will remain very similar to last year’s, having the main stage in Independence Square together with a second one and a kids area in Saint George’s Square. The kids area which was introduced last year was very popular and parents will be once again able to enjoy the vibrant atmosphere whilst their kids play games, watch magicians and balloon modelers throughout the evening.
The event is scheduled to start at around 10.00pm and will go on until late. The evenings entertainment will include the popular ZOO group with the participation of live bands, including Ozi Lino & Band and Mistaken Identity.
Updated: The Victoria Local Council have just confirmed for the night one of London’s most popular tribute bands for Cold Play. The group will perform for a whole hour on the main stage in Independence Square starting at around 10.45pm and will join the entertaining party ZOO for the midnight count down.
Everyone is invited to attend to this memorable event. More surprises are also in store for the night which makes it an evening that should surely not be missed.
