Ave Crux, Spes Unica – Sliem ghalik, O Salib, Tama Taghna – an exhibition for Holy Week taking place in Gozo.

The centre of the exhibition is the image of the Face of Christ, dating back to the second half of the 19th century, worked in papier mache and reminiscent of the sixth station, when Veronica wipes the face of Jesus during the Passion.

The exhibition is in a chapel decorated for this holy season with damask, complete with a set of statues depicting the passion of the Christ by the artist Manuel Buhagiar from Victoria.

The exhibition is being held at 5, ‘Santa Marija’ Triq il-Madonna tal-Karmnu, Victoria.
