The need for blood donations is unrelenting and the National Blood Transfusion Service has said that to maintain adequate reserves every day of the year is an ongoing challenge.

Therefore those who would like to contribute to this cause are invited to donate blood during a session being held at the Gozo General Hospital – Outpatients Department, Sunday, the 15th of April, between 8:00am and 1:00pm – last registrations 1:00pm.

It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
