Further preparation for the summer season in Gozo have been carried out, with a new walkway completed across the sand at Hondoq Bay. The work was carried out by the Ministry for Gozo.

Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana said that, “it is our commitment as the Ministry for Gozo to keep improving our beaches and render them more accessible.”

Earlier this month, as part of the ongoing preparations, a similar project was carried out by the Ministry at Ramla Bay, together with maintenance and landscaping work. Work has also been carried out on Triq Ghajn Hosna – the road leading down to Ramla from Xaghra.
