Two Albanian men were seriously injured after falling from a height while they were working at a construction site in Xewkija, Gozo.

The two men, a 32-year old from Zebbug and a 42-year old from Victoria, fell from a height while carrying out construction work in Triq il-Madonna tal-Hniena, at about 11.45am.

Police said that they were informed of the incident by the health authorities at around 2pm this afternoon.

A Magisterial Inquiry was appointed into the case and Police investigations are still ongoing.
