The National Blood Donation Service will be holding blood donation sessions in Gozo throughout the month of December, starting next Tuesday, the 4th of December.

So why not give the best Christmas gift of all and donate blood, you will be giving something to others, and maybe also helping to save a life.

The Service said that it is always a challenge to collect enough donations at this time of the year in order to meet patient needs during the busy festive season ahead.

The public on Gozo are therefore being invited to donate blood on one of the dates shown below, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.

Sundays – last registrations 1:00pm

9th of December from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

23rd of December from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registrations 5:00pm

4th of December from 1:00pm-5:00pm

18th of December from 1:00pm-5:00pm.

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
