Christmas started early for the students at Gozo College Victoria Primary, with a visit from 13-year old Katriel Zahra.

Katriel has gone through many hardships in his young life, nevertheless, he always has a positive outlook on life.On Monday, Katriel was invited to visit the `Happy School’ during the morning assembly, where he spent some time answering questions raised by the school’s Student Council.

He also took part in a question and answer session with Class Six, and joined the other students during break time to have something to eat.

During his visit Katriel was presented with a silver statue of Mary, Joseph and the Baby Jesus, and the sum of €514 was also collected as a donation towards the costs of his continuous care.
