Police have said that two foreigners – A British man and a Bulgarian man, were arrested in Gozo by the Police Vice Squad, on Friday morning, following weeks of observation by anti-drug squad members stationed in Gozo.

A 20-year old Bulgarian from Marsalforn, and a 41-year old Briton from Zebbug, were found in possession of 80 grammes of what was suspected to be cocaine in bags ready to be trafficked, a small amount of cannabis leaves, a cannabis plant and seeds, as well as drug paraphernalia, such as an electronic scale, Police said.

They are both expected to be arraigned in the Gozo Court this morning, charged with offences relating to trafficking and possession of drugs, and the cultivation of cannabis plant.
