The Gaulitanus Choir will once again musically usher in the New Year with the 7th edition of – A New Year’s Toast.
The venue is the Kempinski Hotel San Lawrenz, Gozo, on New Year’s Day, starting at 7.30pm.
The chosen programme for the evening, will as always present a festive musical repertoire intended to set a positive mood for the year’s start and to offer an ideal way to celebrate the New Year with oomph in a relaxed environment.
The choir said that bouncy Christmassy numbers and a boisterous Mary Poppins Medley will alternate with some interesting British part-songs and a few semi-folkloristic Maltese excerpts, which make a definitely not-to-miss, exciting and spicy evening…with a few surprises included.
A New Year’s Toast will feature the Gaulitanus Choir and its soloists, with the choir’s artistic-musical director Colin Attard conducting.
Entrance for the event – which is supported by the Kempinski Hotel, Bank of Valletta and Playpen – is free of charge.
A repeat performance of the concert will be held at the Russian Centre for Science and Culture, Valletta courtesy of the director of the RCSC Andrey Muraviev, on Friday, the 11th of January, at 7.00pm.
