The National Blood Donation Service is making an urgent call for blood donations, with all blood types needed. The Service will be holding a blood donation session in Gozo next Tuesday in order to help meet the challenge of maintaining a good blood reserve.
It is calling on residents of Gozo who are healthy to donate blood on Tuesday, the 26th of January, between 1:00pm and 5:00pm – last registration is 5:00pm – at the District Health Centre in Xewkija.
It is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
The Service thanks everyone who intends to donate.
