A twice weekly scheduled service to Ibiza is to start being operated by Air Malta every Tuesday and Friday to the Balearic island of Ibiza. The seasonal summer programme will commence on the 16th of August till the 10th of September.

Air Malta’s Chief Executive Capt. Clifford Chetcuti said, “Ibiza is a much sought after destination by the younger generation and is regarded as a mecca for entertainment, especially during the summer months.”

Minister for Tourism Konrad Mizzi added, “Ibiza is a route we have been eyeing for a number of months after receiving a number of request from the local community.We look forward to studying this route further, with the possibility of including it in our summer schedule annually.”

The flight schedule will operate as follows (all times local):

Tuesday and Friday

KM 582 Dep Malta 13:15 Arr Ibiza 15:10

KM 583 Dep Ibiza 15:55 Arr Malta 18:00
