Sunday evening’s GMA MotoFest 2019 proved to be another success story for the Gozo Motocross Association, with a great turnout of competitors and spectators.

The GMA MotoFest 2019 was organised by the Association in collaboration with the Ministry for Gozo and the Gozo Sports Board as part of the programme of events for the Gozo Sports Festival.The event took place at the Gozo Horse Racing Track on where two custom-built tracks were designed specifically for these competitions.

30 motocross riders and 13 autocross drivers competed in a series of flat racing competitions sponsored by Casual Bikers who gave out UFO merchandise to the motocross winners and “goody bags” to all the participants.Frank Xuereb, President of the Gozo Motocross Association presented trophies and medals to the winners who are as follows:

3rd – David Dimech

1st – Jorn Stellini

2nd – Robert Spiteri

3rd – Glenn Vella

Motocross Class B 2stroke:

1st – Nataniel Camilleri

1st – Silvan Caruana

2nd – Kurt Muscat

3rd – Antoine Muscat
