Feel the Magic of Musical Theatre – has been launched at the Ministry for Gozo. Feel the Magic, is a 3-year project which opened earlier this year by Gozo Choir Chorus Urbanus
The Choir is presenting a series of concerts and events throughout the year with the participation of Chorus Urbanus together with other local and foreign artists.
The Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana said that the Ministry for Gozo is establishing Gozo as a destination of culture. “Feel the Magic by Chorus Urbanus is a new initiative supported by the Ministry and Arts Council Malta through the Gozo Cultural Support Programme.”
The project is designed to attract a diverse and wide audience, with a wide-spread appeal where all tastes are addressed, with at least one major open-air concert in summer – hence; Feel the Magic of Musical Theatre, which will be performed at St Augustine Square in Victoria, on Saturday, the 27th of July, starting at 8.30pm.
The audience will be able to relive some of the best songs from popular Musicals through singing, music and dancing provided by the Malta Concert Orchestra, Soloists, Chorus Urbanus, Urbanus Junior Choir, Nathalie Sciortino with the Centre Stage Dance Academy, all under the direction of Dr. John Galea.
