Three young people from the Don Bosco Oratory, in Victoria, Gozo – Cheryl Camilleri, Noella Saliba and Mark Laurence Zammit – are embarking on a trip to South Korea to participate in the International Youth Pilgrimage for Peace.

Before leaving on their trip, the youths paid a courtesy visit to the Bishop of Gozo Mgr Mario Grech, who presented them with a book and a Tau Franciscan cross – symbol of peace.

The Don Bosco Oratory said that this is the second year in which their youths are taking part in this International Pilgrimage.

Their trip is thanks to Archbishop Alfred Xuereb, the Apostolic Nuncio for Korea and Mongolia, who was instrumental in making possible the participation of local youths in this International Youth Pilgrimage, the Oratory said.
