This month the Gozo Philatelic Society is celebrating the 20th anniversary since its inception. A number of activities and events will be taking place to mark the occasion.

There will be a commemorative hand stamp issued at the MaltaPost Victoria branch on Monday, the 23rd of September and to accompany it the GPS is producing a card carrying a personalised stamp on the day. Copies can be acquired by emailing tonigrech73@gmail.com.

A special Mass is also being celebrated at Ta’ Pinu Sanctuary on Saturday, the 28th of September, starting at 6.30pm.

The GPS said that members and supporters are encouraged to participate, to give thanks for so many positive developments and to pray for the repose of those who are no longer with us.

The annual Philatelic Exhibition, hosted in the Gozo Ministry Halls, will be opened by President Dr George Vella on Saturday, the 2nd of November at 10am.
