The Gozo Scholastic Year 2019-2020 Gozo was opened this morning with a Mass at the Rotunda in the parish of St. John the Baptist, Xewkija,
Bishop Mario Grech had invited all educators working in both Church and State schools in Gozo to join together in this way before the first day of school.
The Mass was led on behalf of the Bishop, by Mgr Tarcisio Camilleri, the Vicar General of the Diocese of Gozo, who welcomed everyone present. It was concelebrated by all priests serving in schools.
The Mass was attended by among others Mr Ian Mifsud, Director – Secretariat Christian Education, Dr. Denise Mifsud – Principal of the Gozo College, and Mr. Stephen Spiteri -Service Manager of Gozo Church Schools Gozo.
