BirdLife Malta held a special event at its Ghadira Nature Reserve last weekend to celebrate Klabb Huttaf, its wildlife club for young naturalists.
Bank of Valletta partnered with BirdLife for this exclusive event during which its junior members and their parents, together with Year 4 students who have been receiving the Il-Huttafa magazine for free for the past year, embarked on an adventure to discover what happens at a nature reserve at night, and what happens when the nature reserve first wakes up in the morning.
BirdLife said that the youngsters were taken on a guided exploration tour of the reserve, with activities and crafts along the way, whilst parents stayed at the visitor’s centre to learn all about some Malta’s amazing natural sites and activities they can do with their children in nature.
