The young participants of this year’s TCTC Robotica Nation Gozo course have been presented with their certificates by the Minister for Gozo Dr Justyne Caruana, during a ceremony held in the Ministry for Gozo Courtyard.
More than 200 children attended the course and Dr Caruana congratulated the children on their achievement and explained that the Ministry for Gozo fully funded this course.
“We must invest in education and the future of our children and thus the Ministry for Gozo will continue to offer more opportunities for our children to continue to learn and improve their skills,” said the Minister.
The course was aimed at girls and boys aged 6 to 10 years, who had the opportunity to learn engineering basics with an emphasis on exploration, trial and error field testing.
TCTC explained that “instead of simply ‘snapping bricks together, students are encouraged to think critically and logically about how and why their design needs to adapt to changing conditions.”
