The first edition of the – Youths 4 Entrepreneurship – Gozo, has been announced by the Gozo Business Chamber, in collaboration with the Ministry for the Economy, Investment and Small Businesses, Bank of Valletta, and the Europe Direct Information Centre – Gozo

Taking place in November, the event will form part of the events being organised for the SME Week and will take the form of a contest for potential young entrepreneurs who wish to share business ideas related to Gozo.

The Chamber explained that the overall goal of this initiative is to direct attention to the economic potential and challenges facing the island of Gozo, whilst encouraging young people to take an innovative approach to develop their business ideas based on Gozo’s needs and potential.

Potential young entrepreneurs will have the opportunity to present their ideas by not later than Friday 1st November.

If more than six ideas are presented, the best will be chosen for the event and the selected applicants will be provided with a reply by not later than Wednesday, the 6th of November.

The event will be held on Friday, the 15th of November at Brookies Restaurant, Victoria, starting at 7pm.
