The demonstration event of a 112 emergency response, which was held in Victoria has been hailed as a resounding success.
It was a great opportunity for the several hundred students that attended to see and learn what happens after a 112 call in a traffic accident situation.
The event was attended by more than 500 students from Gozo College and was aimed at providing awareness on the teamwork and collaboration of several departments in life saving.
Yesterday’s event was organised by the Gozo Accident and Emergency Educational Committee, with the participation of the Gozo Civil Protection Department, the Malta Police, Gozo College and the Gozo General Hospital.
The demonstration was held on the occasion of Emergency Nurses Day, which is celebrated annually on the second Wednesday in October and recognises the dedication of ER nurses across the nation.
