Update – Gozo Channel has advised that the ferry service is to be suspended all night, with more updates to be issued after 4.30am on the Gozo Channel facebook page.

The company said that weather conditions are still bad and apologised for for any inconvenience.

Meanwhile on the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana’s facebook page, information has been listed  over the past hours on accommodation available for Gozitan commuters stranded in Malta.

The Minister has said that hotels and room rates have been negotiated by the Ministry.

The Gozo Channel facebook page will give updates after 4.30am
