The rough weather has brought down some large boulders at Xatt l-Ahmar. Mayor of Ghajnsielem Keven Cauchi has said the Council is in contact with the Ministry for Gozo to remove the danger.

The rock fall is in the area known as ‘Tal-Inglizi’ in Xatt l-Ahmar close to the iron ladders and Mayor Cauchi is urging the public to avoid the area.

He thanked Ghajnsielem Councillors Larry Buttigieg and Frankie Saliba, who were on site earlier this morning to close off access.
