ZiguZajg Gozo - third edition of the Arts Festival for Children and YouthZiguZajg, the International Arts Festival for Children and Youth, is back in Gozo once again thanks to Fondazzjoni Kreattività with the collaboration of the Ministry for Gozo.

The announcement was made during a press conference attended by the Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana, who expressed her satisfaction that this very popular festival is continuing to go from strength to strength in Gozo.

“There is recognition in the importance of festivals like these, bringing culture and art to children and young people with a view to further fostering a sense of cultural appreciation that is so strong in Gozo, thanks to the commitment of the Ministry,” said Dr Caruana.

“The festival not only stimulates our children, but also sends many positive messages, including social inclusion and multiculturalism,” said Minister Caruana.

Minister Caruana augured that the ZiguZajg festival continues to grow in Gozo after the positive experiences it has had over the last three years.

The Director of the Festival within Fondazzjoni Kreattività Daniel Azzopardi, gave details of the programme for ZiguZajg Gozo, including art sessions with artist Alessio de Girolamo and a theatrical production with music by The New Victorians, and the puppets of Matthew Pandolfino.

Mr Azzopardi said the commitment of the festival is to continue to raise awareness and bring art and culture closer to the communities, both local and international.
