Let’s all support 8-year old Liam in his swim from Comino to Hondoq

8-year old Liam Daly, is an active and determined Shamrock Star athlete, and a Year 5 student at Gozo College Primary School in Victoria, Gozo – the Happy School.
Next Friday, Liam will attempt a crossing between Comino and Hondoq Bay in Gozo, to raise awareness about the harm plastic is causing to our seas, with the theme – Keep The Sea Plastic Free.
Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana in a message to Liam said, “you make Gozo proud. Well done. The Ministry for Gozo is fully supporting you.”
Liam himself said that he would like to thank the Minister for Gozo for her total support towards this event.
Liam will be leaving Comino at around 10am. So let’s show our support and encouragement towards this young Gozitan who is giving his all in this swim – Support the cause to preserve marine life and be there at Hondoq Bay to welcome and greet him, next Friday, the 22nd of November… please try to be there at the latest by 10.20am as he is expected to arrive at around 10.35am.
