€6,214,190 million was raised during yesterday’s 12-hour fundraising marathon L-Istrina, missing last year’s telethon record amount raised of €7,134,036 million.

This 21st edition of the event was held at Kirkop Sports Centre hosted by President Dr George Vella, and in Gozo in the parking area next to Arkadia. It was also shown live on local television stations,

The President thanked everyone for their generosity for once again teaming together to help those in need.
