Make it your New Year’s resolution for 2020 to donate blood, thereby helping others in need while also maintaining good reserves of blood.

With this in mind, the National Blood Transfusion Service has said that throughout January there will be the opportunity to give blood during sessions taking place in Gozo.

Donations can be made at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club on any of the four dates shown below:

Sundays – last registration 1:00pm

5th January from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

19th January from 8: 00am to 1:00pm

Tuesdays – last registration 5:00pm

14th January from 1:00pm-5:00pm

28th January from 1:00pm-5:00pm

The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
