The Awards Ceremony by the Malta Police Sports Committee (MPSC) was held today at the Police Headquarters in Floriana.

The trophy for 1st place in the Police 7-a-side Football Tournament 2019 was awarded to the Police Security Branch Team.7 Star Awards were also handed to Police Officers who distinguished themselves in different sports disciplines throughout the year 2019:

Police Constable Andrew Grech – Athletics

Inspector Daryl Borg – CrossFit

Police Constable Charles Degiorgio – Powerlifting

Police Sergeant Elisia Scicluna – Weightlifting

Police Constable Paul Falzon – Karate

Police Constable Janice Xuereb – Women Football

Police Constable Rachelle Lynn Borg – Women Football

Minister for Home Affairs and National Security Dr Michael Farrugia, Police Commissioner Mr Lawrence Cutajar, together with Chief Executive Officer Mr Angelo Gafa` and the MPSC were present for the handing of the trophies.
