The National Blood Transfusion Service has said that donated blood is an indispensable necessity and a lifeline for those who require it most.
Faced with this never ending need, the Service is inviting Gozitans to please make a donation this Tuesday, the 14th of January, at the District Health Centre in Xewkija, between 1:00pm to 5:00pm (last registration until 5:00pm).
The Centre is located in Triq tall- Hamrija, between the Primary School and the Bocci Club.
The Service reminds everyone that it is important to always take your Identity Card, or Driving License or Maltese Passport and to drink plenty of water beforehand.
After this Sunday, the next chance to make a blood donation in Gozo will be on Sunday the 19th of January.
