During his visit to Gozo today, Prime Minister Robert Abela visited the offices of the Gozo Business Chamber, he was accompanied by Minister for Gozo Justyne Caruana.

The Chamber in a statement, said that the meeting had been “positive,” with various themes discussed including the issues of governance and “Gozo’s needs.”

The Chamber reiterated its commitment of a sustainable model for Gozo that respects the environment, and that is built on good governance and strong institutions.The GBC also remarked during the meeting that it has always worked in favour of Gozo’s interests both at a local, national and international level.

Joseph Borg, President of the Gozo Business Chamber, repeated his remarks made during the Chamber’s 20th anniversary year, “that governance built on ethical and transparent foundations, is necessary for the country to progress.”

The Chamber thanked the Prime Minister for having met with the Council of the Chamber.
