Dr Justyne Caruana, the former Minister for Gozo has said that she will continue her work in Parliament and contest the next election, adding that she will increase the majority in Gozo.

Writing in a facebook post, Dr Caruana gave her sincere thanks to all those who expressed solidarity with her, in what she described as, “this difficult time.”

“I am proud of the work that I have done and the results achieved for Gozo, which are without precedent and that will continue to be enjoyed by the people for many years.”

Dr Caruana said that she is only 45 and still has a lot to offer the people and the country.
