Gozo Channel operating 4 ferries on shuttle service – Gozo Minister

The fine weather combined with the long weekend, has brought many Maltese over to Gozo, and on Monday evening long queues formed for the journey back on Gozo Channel.
The fleet had been working with three vessels, as the Ta’ Pinu was undergoing scheduled maintenance work and was not due to return until the 16th, however Minister for Gozo Clint Camilleri has advised that the ship will be back in service this evening and will start operating immediately.
The Minister also said that Gozo Channel is currently operating a shuttle service
He added that up until around 6pm this evening, Gozo Channel had carried more than 3,000 vehicles over to Malta and a further 1,200 were waiting to cross.
